Let’s not leave out the guys : a featherweight matchup involving Yair Rodriguez and Zabit Magomedsharipov is hot right now. The two dudes fight as they’re living in the matrix, throwing high-flying kicks and spinning sh*t with reckless abandon. It’s a battle that Zabit has been requesting for, and following some play with Dana White, Yair is in for the win. This really is among the most electrifying matchups of this year.
Who else? John Dodson takes on Jimmie Rivera in a competition with large bantamweight stakes. Rivera is somebody who had been knocking on the door to a title shot, but a quick reduction to Marlon Moraes finished a 20-fight winning series, together with the hopes of challenging for the strap any time soon.
